I have had my server running now for 3 months and it does what I want which is mainly a backup machine and hosts some files I need shared for our small home business, But

The control panel when I set the server up showed it was working for about 2 days and since then has always shown my status as not updating yet the server is working. Today I had an email saying congratulations your new server etc is now running..... So I thought sweet logged into my control panel and it was updating, checked my VPN settings for my router and it said port open.

Half an hour later with me doing nothing and my control panel is back to not updating.

What goes here is it a known fault or just something that only happens to me, it's frustrating the hell out of me because it seems to be stopping me from using my VPN which I have never actually been able to get running and with my control panel updating it doesn't show any IP address at the top
