Amahi Forums

There are several genealogical programs that are written in php and use mysql as a db. Can I set up a server or use amahi to serve files and if so how would I go about it. I have used apache and mysql in the past as a package but I am not sure how to use amahi to establish a web presence using a dynamic ip address. An then of course there are the security issues. Does anyone have experience in this area? I have my own domain name so I could start by posting some static pages to work out the details and run some tests.

There is guidance in the wiki that might help for most things. If you want to provide a list of these applications, we might be able to package them. Would save you some work and benefit others interested in genealogy.
