Yes, our wiki was vandalized today.

Things have been escalating in the war against spam in the wiki for a little while.

This time it took us to a whole new level.

I think it may have been scripted and they bypassed all other antispam-measures by simply breaking the markup in a unique way: such that the parser of the markup did not notice the spammy links. pretty slick these spammers!

We have taking the system down (which also hosts the repos and the blog - so installs and news will be down for a little while).
