is there a list of RPMs that Amahi (base hda install, no apps) requires or just assumes is present?
if so you can do a quick inventory of default packages on Ubuntu and check of which ones are already there and which ones need to be installed. There is 1 big difference between Ubuntu & Fedora, Fedora has sendmail installed by default, Ubuntu uses exim4 as default MTA.
Amahi on Ubuntu?

also, make note of the fact that Debian based systems use a slightly different FS setup then Fedora does..I am sure i can get that out of cpg when he has a second to breath lol
perhaps we also need a list of where those packages are installed, and how/if/when amahi calls for path's to them, and change them accordingly?
that said, apearantly amahi DOES run on ubuntu (albeit half), so says the wiki
LANTEA: Amahi 7 (vm), HP Proliant Microserver, 8GB RAM, 2x 1TB HDD, 1GB eth
