missing iptables configuration?

Postby petersenna » Sat Jan 10, 2009 7:51 am

Hi,

I do have two options to use my hda shares from my Ubuntu box. Or disable iptables or add rules to correct services. Am I doing something wrong?

Thanks,

Peter

i am not sure i follow this, sorry. what do you mean you "have two options"?

there is a way to "connect to server" at least on the gnome desktop.
you can use ssh, or samba. samba uses the user settings configured in the shares tab.

iptables is disabled on every Amahi HDA by default.

i am not sure i understand what the problem is, sorry :(

it has to do with shares, however, it seems like you can use them in two ways and you want to restrict it to use them in one way only?!?
My HDA: Intel(R) Core(TM) i5-3570K CPU @ 3.40GHz on MSI board, 8GB RAM, 1TBx2+3TBx1
