Hi,
I do have two options to use my hda shares from my Ubuntu box. Or disable iptables or add rules to correct services. Am I doing something wrong?
Thanks,
Peter
missing iptables configuration?
Re: missing iptables configuration?
i am not sure i follow this, sorry. what do you mean you "have two options"?I do have two options to use my hda shares from my Ubuntu box.
there is a way to "connect to server" at least on the gnome desktop.
you can use ssh, or samba. samba uses the user settings configured in the shares tab.
iptables is disabled on every Amahi HDA by default.Or disable iptables or add rules to correct services. Am I doing something wrong?
i am not sure i understand what the problem is, sorry
it has to do with shares, however, it seems like you can use them in two ways and you want to restrict it to use them in one way only?!?
My HDA: Intel(R) Core(TM) i5-3570K CPU @ 3.40GHz on MSI board, 8GB RAM, 1TBx2+3TBx1
