you can also use your free Amahi Dynamic DNS address at:
craigz.yourhda.com
When I type this in the address bar and search my results are open DNS errors. What am I doing wrong?
Also
I can VPN into my server at home but when I am out of the house it will not connect,
The server is Fedora 12 with amahi and all clients are Fedora 11-13
Please tell me what I am doing wrong. Everything else works like clock work.
Dynamic DNS not working
Re: Dynamic DNS not working
Did you forward port 80 on your router? Also, keep in mind that you will not be able to use all HDA apps and functions using this with a web browser. There is more to it.
If are using windows, recommend you try hdaconnect (http://wiki.amahi.org/index.php/VPNWindows). Also consider looking at the wiki pages regarding vpn at http://wiki.amahi.org/index.php/VPN.
Hope this helps.
