Problem logging into forum

This is a bit odd. It seems that every time I log into the forum, I need to do it twice. Using the login prompts at the bottom of the page causes the web page to clear and I end up with a second user/password prompt. I can then log in, but often get a page error after that, which I have to click on back (sometimes twice) to get back to the forum.

Is anyone else seeing this, or have I got something wrong in my profile?

yes, this is a known issue with the bottom login. it redirects wrong or something. we put https for login pages and perhaps it's interacting or something. please use the other login (or keep the profile logged in, if you are not using a public computer or something).
