Very interested to hear how this is going, the soft drive pooling in WHS is the only reason I chose it over amihi in the end... if something like this is competently implemented I'd definitely be giving amahi another run

Disk pooling using greyhole is in the process of being designed and implemented in Amahi!
Also, it works already outside of Amahi, so the idea is to make it easier to use!

That is great to hear
greyhole has a lot of promise from what I can see. Before I checked out whs I tried all sorts to get that kind of functionality in amahi, raid+lvm... lvm+rsync... many a night spent arguing with it without much success.
