File explorers...
With the release of Amahi 6 & Fedora 14, the apps for file explorers are now all in beta. Any ideas for a web app that can be used in place of Ajaxplorer on A6/F14?
Re: File explorers...
There should be one or two going live soon. If you want to install one manually, that is your best option until then.
AjaXplorer is fairly easy to setup and using the web app option would give you the same functionality as the Amahi app.
Sorry there is not one available as yet. That might be an oversight on our part.

Re: File explorers...
Thanks for the response...regarding Ajaxplorer, are you saying that I can download and install from the main website (Ajaxplorer's)? How would I go about doing this? I am assuming that I would download to my hda and install via yum? I'm a 'teetering' newbie with Linux/Amahi...many apologies if my questions should be directed to another part of the forum or elsewhere. Thanks for your patience, advise and help!
Re: File explorers...
The software is not a RPM that can be installed via YUM. You would need to follow the wiki guidance for installing a web app.
http://wiki.amahi.org/index.php/Webapps
Then download and unzip/tar the file into the web app dir. This is more for advanced users, but the only way to learn is to try it on your own. Suggest you follow the install instructions for the most part that come with the app.
One other option might be something like Midnight Commander which runs in the command line via SSH. See the wiki for guidance here:

Hope this helps.
