I keep seeing references to not being able to use vnc headless, including a comment by someone relative to the new app. I don't have any problem installing tigervnc and using it on a headless install. Is this only a problem with webvnc, or from windows clients?
I do note that the instructions in the wiki for installing vnc need some love, at least the first method. I don't think you can install by following them verbatim. I am far, far from an expert, but I suspect I could install vnc on the server and connect with krdc in 5 minutes. I can't help much on the client side, but I'd be happy to detail the server install, if I can get someone with more knowledge to review them.
Headless VNC
Re: Headless VNC
If you have any updates to the wiki, that would be great. We (cpg) is working on a one-click app that will install VNC server so we can make this easier for users. Anticipate it will be in testing soon and moved live once all is working well.
