Running VMWare 2.0 on Amahi 5.0/Fedora 12

For those of you who tried ... vmware 2.0 (2.0.2 to be specific), has some issues when installing on Fedora 12.
I followed this VMWare Server 2.x on recent kernels and it worked well.
One important thing to note is that you are trusting your system to this guy's tar packages (almost fell into the trap of calling them tarballs
).
