Ajaxterm usage

I installed Ajaxterm. I'm thinking there are some further configuaration steps to get it fully functional as I cannot login. I can enter
root and hit return but it simply goes back to
Login:. No opportunity to enter a password...

maybe Fedora has chosen a default sane option: disable remote root login or the app doesn't allow you to logon as rot.

I cannot login with my user account (spaceman) either.
I think remote login is enabled...I had to do that to enable VNC access (which I'm having an issue with atm - user error) which did work.

use one of your HDAs users not your amahi.org user (you are logging into your box!).

LOL I know that! Despite all evidence to the contrary I'm not a complete moron.
Oh yeah, the VNC problem...OK it was worth saying but my user ID on my HDA is spaceman too. I try to use the ID everywhere...but believe me my password is industrial strength.

I broke it good now I don't even get the terminal opening...install/re-install...
Aha, back to where I was before: able to connect, unable to authenticate.

yup. that is correct.
does not work in your own network?
are you
a) running a firewall on your hda?
b) running an outgoing firewall in your own windows box?
you can see
http://ajaxterm it seems, why not hda?
try ssh to hda.
