Hi guys,

I'm getting a cron message as follows:

It looks like cron is running cd / && run-parts --report /etc/cron.hourly

The message is: "run-parts": /etc/cron.hourly/hda-update exited wiht returned code 100"

I'm concerned cron is not updating for some reason.. Anyone have any input on this?

Thanks!!

What version of Amahi? Typically you can run yum update and if there is anything it will pick it up.

Hmmm.. Isn't yum a Fedora thing? I'm running the latest Ubuntu version I believe.. I've ran a recent apt-get update and apt-get dist-upgrade the other day prior to updating to the latest greyhole version...

I also noticed this.. It won't start...

Any ideas?

Yes YUM is Fedora. Check to see what version of Ubuntu it is now after the updates.

BTW, there will be no more updates made to the platform, so you won't be missing anything if it's not working. With Amahi 7 being the stable release, Ubuntu is in maintenance mode.

As for the Amahi-Sync service not working, check to see if it's running via command line. You should also check the log files in /var/log for errors or any clues.

It's entirely possible that the updates you installed may have broken something. Not saying that is the case, but it is a possibility. Have you tried rebooting since installing the updates? Often Ubuntu requires a reboot.
