I tried installing vTiger the other day and it did not work. I hit the install button again and it worked but I am completely unable to login (admin/admin and standarduser/standarduser just pop back a "Enter a valid login name and password" message) and the vtiger504 database is completely emtpy. Uninstalled, reinstalled, still nothing. Also Sugar CRM won't install at all. Any ideas why this might be?
I'd really like to try the apps out.

Sugar and vTiger CRM Problem - Fixed
Re: Sugar and vTiger CRM
wow. that's not a very good experience. sorry to hear about that.
what OS are you running amahi on?
i just tried vTiger, with admin/admin and it worked well for me. i am on fedora 9 still.
do you have cookies turned on?
you can try to look at the bottom of the log file after installing:
to look for any errors.
as for SugarCRM, looks like Sugar has a habit of breaking links to downloads when new releases happen.
we'll fix this momentarily and post back here.

Re: Sugar and vTiger CRM
Yeah I'm running Fedora 9 still myself. I was wondering if maybe I just didn't have a new enough version of Amahi or something. I'll take a look at the log later.
Looks like I might be having some issues with mySQL. SugarCRM installs now but it isn't making the tables it needs in mySQL either. Looks like Home Inventory might have had a similiar issue (I had installed it a while back but never played with it). I wonder if I just need to start over or something?

Re: Sugar and vTiger CRM
Re-did my server. There was some wonky stuff going on with mySQL. SugarCRM seems to be working just fine now. Got the same issue with vtiger though, the page loads but it will not let me log in. I checked the mySQL database with PHP myAdmin and it showed just an empty database for vtiger504. I also checked the log file mentioned earlier and it said something about not being able to find certain ZIP files, but that the install was successful. Maybe it's not finishing a script somewhere?

Anyone have any thoughts? I rooted around the var directory seems like there's a fair amount of vTiger stuff in there but no database.

vTiger should be up and running again. sorry about that. we need to standardize/streamline the process of how we package apps.
