torrentflux slow

I was very happy to have amahi do my torrents for me. I had been using bittorrent on my laptop, I would get around 100kb/s, when try torretflux, I told it to use ports 10000-11000 and told my firewall to forward those ports to it. However the download speed for torrentflux is only around 40kb/s. So it's over half as fast. Am I missing something else that needs to be done?

I've noticed that it's a little slow to get started, but eventually kicks in. Do you have your Upload speed throttled back? If you're running wide open, it can choke your download speed. I set mine at around 20kbps, so it doesn't affect the network.
