Amahi Sync Post-Expiration

Please excuse if I posted this in the wrong place; I don't know where it best fits.
Amahi Sync seems great in theory and all, but I have one glaring question - what happens to that space should one's subscription expire without renewal? Are the files already stored locally regardless? Are files immediately and completely wiped from the cloud? It doesn't really say anything on the matter.
