Hi,

I have been using WebVNC for a long time now and with no problems. However I had a series of other problems recently and ended up uninstalling WebVNC, intending to reinstall it immediately.

I then find it is no longer available on the applications page and is in Beta - only available for testers, and acceptance of testers is frozen.

Bigfoot65 - I hope you are monitoring this thread still - you helped me last time I had problems - can you help me reinstall WebVNC?

I have the same problem with WebVNC. I had it installed when I used Fedora 12/Amahi 5 but having done a reinstall to fix a bad upgrade to Fedora 14/Amahi 6 it is no longer available. Is there any way to either get this opened up for me as well or to get an idea of the release schedule so I know when it will be back?

I cannot give you a firm date as to when it will be live again. Unfortunately, when we moved from Fedora 12 to 14, some apps still remain in beta. We are hoping when we move to Fedora 16 that all apps currently live will remain such in the new version.

A lot depends on capability of the OS. That is what held back some previously released Fedora 12 apps in 14.
