I just did a fresh install of Amahi, installed WebVNC via dashboard. Followed the install instructions while logged into the HDA from the wiki before trying to launch the app. Picked the same password for Remote Desktop as my user account. When I try from a windows 7 pc I get "Network error: could not connect to server webvnc.*.com:5900" Reinstalling does not fix the issue.

I installed the pc version of TightVNC but it cannot connect to server either.

Any Ideas?

Have you checked the wiki regarding VNC?

The solutions there might work better than WebVNC.
