Application Error

Application Error

I'm receiving the following error when I try to access my HDA dashboard:

"Application error
The application has found an error. You will be forwarded shortly."

Based on a previous post, I am attaching the production.log

something obliterated a critical file in /tmp ... something is awry. try this:

service hdactl restart

Great! A reboot would have helped too. if you did not reboot yet, i'd like to know why hdactl stopped working. this is very rare and we'd like to debug it.

If you can share your /var/log/messages file, it could help. no publicly, though (email support or PM here). Thanks!

Hi,

I'm getting the exact same error however when i try and use that code it says " hdact1: urecognized service " ...?

That is HDACTL in all lower case. You may also have to be root user.
