Install Issues

Postby kermtfrg » Mon Nov 15, 2010 1:44 pm

I tried to install ampache but it just kept spinning from amahi so I looked in the logs and found this in amahi-app-installer.log

Code: Select all

======= app install begin @ Mon Nov 15 13:54:22 -0600 2010 ========== Installing app id m8hx39asya under /var/hda/platform/html ENV=production NOTE: file /tmp/amahi-download-cache/60f44983c3dfed92cc249fef24ba5685f69cb38c written in cache /var/hda/platform/html/script/../app/models/app.rb:448:in `chdir': No such file or directory - /var/hda/web-apps/ampache (Errno::ENOENT) from /var/hda/platform/html/script/../app/models/app.rb:448:in `install_webapp' from /var/hda/platform/html/script/../app/models/app.rb:202:in `install_bg' from /var/hda/platform/html/script/install-app:89:in `install_or_uninstall' from /var/hda/platform/html/script/install-app:110:in `main' from /var/hda/platform/html/script/install-app:122
Any ideas? Are there steps to install it manually?

Hmmm...do you have the latest Amahi platform? Ampache installed fine on my machine.

Also, check /var/hda/web-apps and ensure the ampache dir does not already exist. If it does, remove it and try to install.

This error is something we have seen in the past and the latest Amahi platform should resolve it.

I would assume I have the latest version, it was just installed a few weeks ago. I checked for that directory and it does not exist. I have adito, apps-proxy and transmission1 listed there.

Can it be installed manually?

Ok, not sure what the problem is then. We have a rash of these types of problems lately.

If ya wanna install it manually, you will need to go to the apps web site for guidance. We hope to sort it out soon as its sporadic and hard to trace.
