weird - the images some come right up if you added them from the media manager in wp.

you can view the source and see where they are expecting to be by looking at the url.

just to add something in this discussion.

Supposed you own a domain (e.g myblog.info) and you have a way to update dns servers with your IP case you are dynamic (majority of home users) then you can do also the following:

Step 1
edit the file /etc/httpd/conf.d/####-wordpress.conf.
add one line after

Code: Select all

ServerAlias wordpress.yourhomedomain

like this

Code: Select all

ServerAlias myblog.info
this way what ever comes to your router and you redirect it to your HDA, if is looking for myblog.info apache will replay with wordpress.

Step 2
install to your wordpress the plugin called Domain Mirror. Set up as admin your domains.

This way wordpress replays always with the correct domain. All links from dashboard work without problems.

This is great info. Would you be able to add this to the wiki under the WordPress area for apps? It makes it easier for other users to locate.
