Horde groupware

I am new to amahi and fedora. I just installed the horde groupware app received the following message when i attempted to run it:
"To finish the installation of Horde Groupware and configure the application, please run php scripts/setup.php from the console."
What console and I would I go about this?

Not sure what the cause of your issue could be, but let's try this. Uninstall Horde, reboot, then reinstall.

Let's see if that fixes it. I have not heard of anyone else having problems recently, so we need to get to the bottom of it. Also, can you attach your /var/log/amahi-app-installer.log file with the portion applicable to Horde please? I want to see if there is any clue there as to why it did not successfully install.

I tried the uninstall, rebooted HDA then reinstalled app. Still received same message; Not sure if this is the log you are looking for, if not please expand on how to obtain it.

Ok, did you by chance change your mysql password. That was the problem for one other user. We just updated horde to the latest version and corrected the dependency for the mysql root user and password.

Please give it another shot and let us know.

okay I have done the install, now I do get a login screen however, it says login failed because of wrong username or password. The horde program says to use admin for both which I have done, I also used my HDA login. No luck on login. I also installed MyPhPAdmin, after install I opened that program and looked at the Horde dbase user column and it doesn't show any. I am going to create one there and see if I can log in with that.

Really strange that it is not working. You might try uninstalling, then make sure the horde user and horde database is gone. After that, reboot and try it again. What we are finding is there was a problem with the db not uninstalling. I made some corrections tonight and so far one user has been able to install and get it.

We are sorry this is not working for you as we pride ourselves on app stability and true one-click installs. We will get it sorted out. Please post anything out of the ordinary that you find in /var/log/amahi-app-installer.log file.

I did another uninstall, check dbase, horde was removed.
Did a system reboot, reinstalled the horde.
Checked the dbase, it lists the horde and the admin user however when i go to log in I receive the original message that started this post to begin with.

I am at a loss as to what is causing the problem for you. We have had others test too, with mixed results. Is it possible for you to check /var/log/amahi-app-installer.log and see if there is anything there? I know we checked before, but maybe this time there might be something that will give us to go on.

I really want to make this work for you and others, just have to find the problem. Thanks for being patient and helping us get this app working for all.

Is this the amahi-app-installer.log? I didn't see anything in the log you posted that is helpful. I am sure we will figure it out too, just a matter of time.
