Great news! I did not do anything since the last time I posted. What did you do differently to get it working? I would be interested to know in case we have this issue again with other users.

The only thing I did different was installed openoffice. I am not sure if the app is dependent on having some office software or not or if this is what caused it to install, just know it is the one thing i tried differently.

I am experiencing the exact same issues..

Tried installing Openoffice but that didn't fix the issue..

Tried uninstalling, rebooting, reinstalling, rebooting

Still getting the error:
Configuration of Horde Groupware has not been finished yet.

To finish the installation of Horde Groupware and configure the application, please run php scripts/setup.php from the console.

Any assistance would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks

After uninstalling, did you check the database and see if the tables for horde were removed?
After installing check the dbase to make sure tables were created, also check the table "horde_users" and see if the admin account was created.

I did confirm the database was removed, after uninstalling.

After reinstalling the tables were created.
I did not check "horde_users" though will check it when I get home.

Thanks

Suggest you uninstall Horde, then reboot your hda. After it is up and running, reinstall. Make sure once install is complete you give it a minute before trying to access the app.

Hope that helps, if not we will have to look at other options.

Uninstalled Horde, rebooted system.. waited at least 15 minutes.
Installed Horde.. started installing HDA on another box to pass the time.

Rebooted horde hda went to http://horde still getting same message to run setup.php sccript..

That is strange. Not sure what the problem could be, but glad you have it working on a box. This way we know the install script is good.

If you figure out the issue with the other box, please let us know. Might be something that will help other users.
