RadiantCMS via Amahi Home Server

Postby andypflueger » Fri Apr 03, 2009 7:40 am

Hi folks,

I've had an idea to work on a personal project and work with the Amahi group to deliver a RadiantCMS powered blog or CMS web app to the Amahi community. I'm calling this project "radblog" but essentially my ideas may go beyond just blogging. RadiantCMS itself is more than just a blog in fact. For those that aren't familiar with this, it's a Ruby on Rails web application for building a website for easy management and publishing of content. I'd like to solicit ideas from others on where we could take "radblog". Currently, my project is on github at http://github.com/andypflueger/radblog/tree/master. Feel free to follow/fork the project and solicit ideas on what features you'd like to consider adding to this project. Currently, I'm running http://andypflueger.com/ off radblog which is installed on my Amahi Home Server.

If you would like to participate or solicit ideas, please response to this post. :D

Thanks,
Andy Pflueger

i see. nice system (even has layouts, coool; i guess the ror heritage shows, hehe).

pic gallery is simple but nice ... hey i wrote some code (search for mediarss) to make the pictures available as media-rss feed in the slideshow app, so browsing with cooliris works nicely.

i'd like to add pagination support to that code!

we're mostly over the hump in this recent release, so we'll take up on new features soon ... :D

Hey cpg, what's the status of the RoR support feature request? :D
