how to install phpMyAdmin

I tried to install phpMyAdmin following the entry in the wiki : http://wiki.amahi.org/index.php/PhpMyAdmin

As i try to enter the root path (/usr/share/phpMyAdmin/) I get the message that this path is not valid.

phpMyAdmin is present at the /usr/share/ directory.....

HDA gives var/hda/web-apps/phpMyAdmin/html but there is no phpMyAdmin and /html is not changable.
Changing the /etc/httpd/conf.d/1000-phpMyAdmin.conf file doesn't work either....

Anybody any idea?

from phpMyAdmin's FAQ, in Firefox use the following URL:

http://hda/phpMyAdmin/index.php?server= ... evelopment

Worked for me.

The screencast helps my out. I had to copy the phpMyAdmin folder to the root of the web-app....
