I agree with ichat's sentiments, don't spread the resources too thin or it will grind to a halt.
Perhaps it's a good idea to focus on a F12 development and get it really polished and reliable. RHEL 6 (which is released Q1 or Q2 next year) is rumored to be based on F12. This would make a great step for Amahi on small business because you can run on "certified" server software.

my thoughts exactly

also - that rumor about Rhell 6, meaning that id have to say ... that amahi 5 should be the last release based on FC10, - and amahi 6 whill be FC12/Rhell6 based.

if this is the case, than i may have some work to do, to figure out, a a first draft on both the amahi 5 and amahi 6 version (seperately).

meaning that i intent to propose as mutch of a complete roadmap as i can put together.

I'm not quite following.

Amahi 5.0 (being tested intensely now) will not be supported on F10.

This release will be only on F12 (unless some major showstopper issue is discovered now - unlikely).

cpg, - that i knew, but i wanted it very clear in this topic that we (all of us should drop all attention on F11 (in favor of f12) ... and most of F10's also.... so we can spend as mutch attention to F12 (and rhell6 ) as we can .... and hopefully stick to it until at least amahi v7 that's all i meant to make absolutely clear...

but all this only if there's no show-stopper of course) ...

i still think, having some form of theming should be high on the priority list.
for the simple reason that it allows app maintainers for basic skinning as well, which makes the overall project more.. "as one" like other projects.
also, we would benefit from a php scripter, i have limited skills, but im learning ;)

hi janjacobs,

theming support is easy - or better yet, its very easy,
the only problem is that it take an unbelievable lot of time.

to be honest just about any script kiddie could integrate theming into any part of any webbased app. if they'd be willing to spend weeks of going through the 'entire (html) source code and replacing the right code with CSS (cascading style sheets) as wel as any table <table> <tr> <td> markup (if existing in the code) should be replaces with div's <div id=#divtable> (and probably some other stuff also

i would call it 'a bit of an undertaking' - or just plain slave's work, but its not at all complicated and very possible, for anyone who ever did some above intermediate web designing.

non the less, after that all a skilled designer would only need just a few different .css -files.. to theme the entire amahi base.

is anyone in the mood for such a gigantic job
