Yea, I installed a user on install. The httpd issue is gone. What I failed to do was after first boot, let it run it's course and reboot.
Probably need a warning or something to indicate after install, it will reboot twice on it's own and do not touch anything

Re: Amahi 7 Express disk RC3!
i see. it's not a good thing. we could TRY HARD to reset the network, but that's a path we've gone through before and it it was painful.
reset is so "windows style" that it hurts to have to require it.
i will see if we can programmatically ensure the network, mysql, etc. is up.

Re: Amahi 7 Express disk RC3!
I find it kind of sad that it's just you two going back and forth in here, so I figured I'd pop in to say I'm very excited by the progress you're making and would love to help test/debug if needed.
Amahi is a great platform, and it's really just too bad that you guys are the only ones moving forward with it.

Thanks steven
It'd be great if you can chip in with testing!
Today someone in the team (over IRC) worked on testing the various functions of the platform. It always helps to have more testing.
Another area you can help with is to install the releases as they are release keep track of issues, e.g. in the wiki.
Keeping the wiki up is always some read where we can use extra hands!
