Could you add myth tv

Postby dam_it_chris » Wed Dec 10, 2008 12:08 am

I love mythtv, I use it all the time. Especially mythweb to record my shows, if you added it I could record my shows on Amahi and have it on the server.

thanks for the suggestion. it's on the list of apps to support.

unfortunately, it's a rather complex one, however, if we just focus on the backend, i think it should be simpler.

i do need it badly!

Really need the MythTV back end also. If not, I am going to have to run WHS and SageTV, I would really hate to support Micro$oft any more than I already have to. The wife isn't very computer literate, so I have to keep a few windoze machines around.

cpg, tfbox, Rampage537 and others have packaged/helped package this app. I am currently alpha testing the app. We are using Mythbackend and Mythweb currently for the application.

Due to the complexity of the application ie configuring the backend, schedules direct, etc this is taking longer than expected. We will keep you posted!

Cheers!
