Re: Creating one-click app
Hello, I tried it and installed just fine. Looks nice. Does this app require access as root user to start the daemon? Amahi apps do not have the capability to sudo or have root access. I don't hve a way to actually test it as I do not have an account with rapidshare. Users cannot see this app, only ...

Re: Creating one-click app
Not quite, the original app source must be downloaded by the one-click app. A patch file will modify the changed files and if necessary, recreate the db. This is the business rule to ensure we keep the integrity and security of the original app in tact as much as possible. I know it seems more compl...

Re: Creating one-click app
Hello, I will do my best to explain and hopefully answer your questions. You can also check out the wiki page, although it has limited info (http://wiki.amahi.org/index.php/Webapps). First of all, you create a webapp with the name of the app, i.e. mediawiki. Next, open a terminal window and navigate...

Re: Apps Suggestion: Subsonic and Deki Wiki
Deki Wiki has already been suggested and it's on the list. I have briefly looked at it. I intend to try and work it in the next few days.

Re: Amahi - First install - Apps that work or not
Hello, Sorry to hear you are having problems with some of the apps. I need to ask a few questions: A. Have you installed the latest Fedora 12 updates? If not, please do. B. Are you using 32 or 64 bit? C. Have you rebooted since install? If not, pelase do. D. Is the timezone set in your php.ini file?...

Re: OpenGoo Does not work?
Have you restarted your HDA since install? I would recommend uninstalling OpenGoo, restarting the HDA, then installing it again.
That may fix your problem. If not, please attach the portion of the /var/logs/amahi-app-installer.log file for OpenGoo.

Re: Upgrade to 5.1
Upgrade is automatic. If for some reason, yours did not update then you can do it manually. In terminal as root user, do yum update.
That will install any Amahi and Fedora 12 updates available.

Re: Is this possible? accessing apps through yourhda.com
Ok, remove the /eyeos in the file, then restart the web server. In your browser, you would enter myuser.yourhda.com/eyeos.
Try that and let us know how it works.

Re: Is this possible? accessing apps through yourhda.com
Did you modify the .conf file for each app that you want to access from outside your network? Restarting the web server is important as well.
If you could provide more detail on what you did, we will be able to better understand your issue.

Re: Sabnzbd in Fedora 12
It is possible. You need to create a web app, then do the install manually. I have done it in the past in F10, but not tried in F12 yet. If you are not experienced with Linux, I would not recommend it. There are certain things that need to be configured with .conf files and location of the app itself.
