Re: Problems using VPN
I think your vpn creates a tunnel into your work set-up, whereby the 'home network' gets excluded. If you can access it have a look in your contact settings. I assume that your home network (192.168.***) has not been excluded from the proxy server settings. I have exactly the same with my employer s...

PS Audio IPOD Touch app
On the site of PS Audio they are discussing a soon to come out set of equipment that will include a music server, a networked DAC and, for me most important, an app that will run on an ipod that should work with Upnp/DLNA servers....................Wouldn't it be fun if it would work on the Amahi as...

Re: Different workgroup names for wired and wireless??
Hi, thanks for that. The computer in the 'workgroup' network is only the Ubuntu laptop, so I conclude that is the computer generating the 'workgroup' network. It is not a Windows machine. But I thought that the server (AMAHI) took care of naming the network? All computers get their IP numbers from t...

Different workgroup names for wired and wireless??
Hi, why is it that my wired computers are on a network called 'Home', but my wireless connected laptop is on 'Workgroup'? HDA is set for DHCP.
My BT modem/router is on 'BT', takes care of the wireless connection to the network, but has DHCP switched off.
Appreciate your advise. Thanks, Rene.

Re: DLNA Server: test version w/ M3U/PLS music playlists support
When I try to install it I get a message that it can't be installed because 'libavformat.so.52' is missing. Is my system not updating OK? I tried the clean all and update, but this gave the message that there were no updates?
Appreciate your comments. Thanks, Rene.
