Re: Amahi 7 - two Network Cards

I was able to assign a static ip address to the secondary network card. My initial issue was that there was no script so i just created the file. /etc/sys.../netwo-sc.../em1 i followed the guide here for the basic settings for assigning a static ip. http://danielgibbs.co.uk/2013/01/fedora-18-set-sta...

Re: Amahi 7 - two Network Cards

I had actually looked online (nixcraft, fedora forums, etc.) and found a way to do it through ifconfig but i didn't want to make any changes that way just in case it would cause an issue with some other kind of amahi setting. I may end up just trying it tonight and it it causes any issues i will jus...

Re: IPsec VPN Help: Cannot get VPN to Work

I am a little confused, you said after you did all of your network preferences on your Macbook Pro you were able to connect to IPsec VPN? "I am able to connect to IPsec VPN" My question is what are you having trouble with first, getting IPsec up and running and actually connecting? Or gett...

Re: Amahi 7 - two Network Cards

Thanks for the suggestion. Its a good idea for the future, but i finally have my server up and running just the way i want/like it so i dont think i will be going that route at the moment. I may end up just saying o well in the end but thought it was worth a shot.

Well i am currently using F19 Amahi 7 and dont have eth0. I currently have em1 and p2p1. At the moment they ...

Re: HDA Update last night, re: plex

Cool. No way, i totally get it. Its way simpler to get things that everyone wants to the masses by putting it in the repos. Thanks for the help and info. Side note to anyone else that has this issue here is how i fixed my plex install so i could get my plexpass version back and my working database F...

Re: HDA Update last night, re: plex

Hey Bigfoot do you know why this could have happened in the first place? I didn't purchase the Plex app through Amahi and yet it still pushed it to my system.

Re: HDA Update last night, re: plex

This happened to me as well today. My plexpass version is being overruled "due to obsoletes from installed amahi-plex." How would i exclude amahi-plex in the yum config?
