Do you have your HDA set as DHCP and DNS right now? If not then HDA will not work in the server field, but the IP will. Make sure the IP address you are typing in is correct, as well as the username/password case is correct (upper/lower case).

I do not recommend trying to upgrade from F9 to F12, that is a big jump.
Best bet is a clean install of Fedora 12 when you have the chance. See about buying a copy from them (if they do that?) or getting a friend to burn it.

It seems that you dont have the correct gateway ip address or the Amahi server chose to use the IP address the modem gave.

Seems as if your network is blocking the repo or vice versa. I can download the package with no problems. The only thing you need to do when you add the repo is add the name "amahi" (without quotes) and add the url "http://f12.amahi.org" (without quotes) then click next or ok or ...

Are you installing with a DVD ISO or trying to install with a Live CD ISO?

I do not think self install has been tested with Fedora 12 just yet.

hmmm, yeah your completely right. Didn't think of that, but a reboot button should be nice. A reboot button would be nice, I guess it could be done. use the username for the first user created in fedora. I used it (as one of options) but something was wrong I have reinstalled and it works now OK. B...
