Re: Transmission-remote runs from CLI not from cron.d
Hmm, my guess is that it has some something to do with permissions. When I add files to my dropbox they have default permissions of: -rw-r--r-- any idea why that is? My dropbox is within my "Docs" share which my user has full access to. I still don't get why it doesn't work though. cron.d ...

Transmission-remote runs from CLI not from cron.d
this is what my cron.d looks like: */1 * * * * transmission transmission-remote localhost:9091 --auth user:password -a /var/hda/files/drives/drive1/docs/Dropbox/newtorrents/*.torrent I get an email every minute that says "localhost:9091 responded: "invalid or corrupt torrent file"&quo...

Every time I reboot win7 it asks me for my SMB credentials
I'm running Amahi 6 on my HDA and Win 7 Pro on my desktop. I have //hda/music //hda/movies and //hda/pictures mapped as network drives X:, Y:, and Z: respectively. When I log into my samba shares it asks for my credentials, which I supply, and click, "remember credentials." Yet every time ...

SickBeard and Couchpotato out of beta?
Anyone care to venture a guess as to when SB and Couch will be out of beta? I'm currently running SAB on my HDA and SB/C on my win7 box. The two machine solution wastes electricity. Thanks.

Re: open VPN. Android. HDA Conect
I've got a Droid X running the latest CM7 nightly. I used OpenVPN installer to install OpenVPN 2.1.1 to the /system/xbin/openvpn folder. Then I tried following these instructions: http://wiki.amahi.org/index.php/VPNAndroid I have a VPN in my VPN Settings called "Amahi" but it hangs when I ...

Re: Show Us your home server
Upgraded my HDA. I moved the Vertex to the ODD bay, inserted a fourth Samsung f4 HD204UI 2TB into the SAS backplane. Then I reformatted and properly aligned all the F4's (they are advanced format drives that don't play nice with linux out of the box). Then I combined them into a RAID 5 array with md...

IPSec VPN issues
I've got the Windows 7 Client connecting to my HDA which is good.
I still can't get my Droid X running stock Android 2.3 to connect.
Also suppose my client gets compromised, is there a way to create a PSK with more characters?
Thanks,
rbmattis

Hi Bigfoot65, I saw that the IPSec app hasn't been verified with Android. May I give it a whirl on my HDA/DroidX?
Thanks,

Re: Amahi DLNA doesn't rescan automatically
This seems to be a pretty important issue which has yet to be resolved. I double checked the preferences of all of my movies and music... they seem fine.
I stopped amahi-dlna, removed files.db, and restarted amahi-dlna... will see if it works correctly now.
