HDAConnect - Am I missing something?
When I use HDAConnect, everything seems fine and it maps my HDA to 10.8.0.6. However, I can't do anything with that IP address. If I browse to it in any browser, it just says: " This site is running TeamViewer. Free Port 80 for other applications in advanced settings. " I already have &quo...

Amahi vs Windows Server 8
Hi guys, I currently use Amahi and am generally happy with it. The main reason I chose Amahi was because of Greyhole - it gives me the ability to pool my storage and also provides the redundancy of RAID 5 without the HDD size restrictions and issues of being tied to specific controller hardware. How...

Re: Updating Greyhole : Don't Panic
That'd be nice, having my file server running a no-longer-supported OS isn't very nice (especially when that means no more updates!).We will announce when it is stable for users to upgrade. Not sure when, hopefully by the end of this month.

MediaTomb - "could not list directory - permission denied"
I have installed MediaTomb (manually) on my Amahi server but I can't get it to work. I have set it up to run over eth0 and have started the service. I can access the web interface via http://hda:50500 but when I browse to /mnt/samba (where my greyhole shares are mounted locally), I cannot access any...

Re: auto login hda
If you have the same username & password for your HDA admin account and your Windows user account, you never get asked for a password.

Re: Setup Your Own Amahi Music Server - For Free
Yeah I have installed Transmission on my Amahi server. Here's a list of steps but it probably needs cleaning up and elaboration: 1) Install Transmission using "yum install transmission" as root. 2) Go to System -> Administration -> Startup Applications 3) Add a new entry to the Startup Pro...

You mixed up the 32-bit and 64-bit packages there.

Re: File Replication
Perhaps only one of your drives has "Pooled" ticked in Shares -> Storage Pool? No point giving the user the option to have extra copies if there's only one HDD in the pool!
