Re: Fedora 14 vs. Ubunto 12.04

Thats odd. Fedora is just bleeding edge version Redhat/CentOS.

Wouldn't it be beneficial for Amahi to make it work with CentOS, mainly for the longer life cycle.

Re: Fedora 14 vs. Ubunto 12.04

My only issue with Fedora is the short support timeframe. That is my reason for supporting Ubuntu LTS.

It's too bad Amahi could not be built on top on of CentOS 6 instead of Fedora

Re: Permissions for /var/hda/files

I'm guessing so. I never touched or looked at that until now. Once I changed it I was able to access my files with write acres. But what is odd is that no one has mentioned it yet.

Re: Permissions for /var/hda/files

Are you having problems when accessing files from a client computer I can access the files, but can not delete. While logged into your hda, all the share directories in /var/hda/files (and the files they contain) should have permissions set to <first user account>:users. That is what they are set t...

Permissions for /var/hda/files

Hey Guys Anyone know what the default permissions should be for /var/hda/files I only have read access to the files there. When I check the access for folders and shares they are all "first_account_created | users" In my HDA, I have read and write access to the share. So im guessing its th...

Re: SSD for OS install drive - Benefit or Detriment?

You would see boot up times faster. Thats it.

Use the SSD in your PC you use to see the performance increase. i had them in my desktops, and it was great. very fast.

For home server for what we use, stuck to standard HDD's (sata2 or 3).

Re: Sickbeard and SabNZB+

I already tried those passwords and neither of them worked. I was thinking of setting it manually in the config file. I will have do research on how to enter that in the config file. hopefully that will work
