Re: Persistent connection options for file sharing/remote access over DS-Lite IPv6 ISP?
Have you tried the openvpn ? Also might check out Windows VPN . amahi-anywhere gives you access to you shares via Android or iOS. I believe that any standard VPN or remote IPv4 connection apps need to be listening on a port that is available from outside the ISP's gateway. Since my address is conve...

mount_shares_locally revised wiki page help
I am going to re-setup my local samba shares tonight after some previous issues and was thinking that I would need to point SickRage to use the /mnt/samba shares for placing and modifying files in the TV directory but this article (https://wiki.amahi.org/index.php/Mount_Shares_Locally#Revise_mount_s...

Re: Another small dashboard problem
Is you server configured as the DHCP lease provider and (or at least) DNS provider? I had strange issues with the links in the dashboard until I gave in and let Amahi do those things.

Persistent connection options for file sharing/remote access over DS-Lite IPv6 ISP?
I realize that this is more of a general question not specifically related to Amahi but thought that maybe someone could point me to an Amahi app that may serve the purpose... I have been looking into options for remotely accessing my Amahi 10 server (Samba mostly but SSH would be cool too) and have...

Re: Moved files revert to origin. Nested shares problem?
ThanksShould be ok.I had some other issues and during the troubleshooting I removed that parent share but wondering if I could add it back in or if I should expect problems with Greyhole if I do?

Re: Cannot save extra parameters
As an update, like the other posters, I could not get anything to save and although I don't know how to view the production.log as the other person did I assume I am getting the same 500 internal server error when the front end tries to populate the database. I had to end up manually editing the 'ex...

Re: Moved files revert to origin. Nested shares problem?
I know this is a super old post but I was hoping someone might be able to give some insight when the reverse happens: I had a share named "Share" which was the top level folder (/var/hda/files/drives/drive1/) that all my default LZ shares were in along with the gh folder for that drive. I ...

Re: Cannot save extra parameters
I am having the same problem in Amahi 10 and before I realized these initial extra parameters had not saved, I was pulling my hair out trying to figure out why Greyhole would not update renamed and deleted files. Every greyhole --fsck, the files would magically reappear. I ended up removing the shar...
