Re: Ubuntu install report
There's a chance that the hdactl service didn't start correctly. You may want to try a restart. If that still doesn't work, could you post the contents of /etc/network/interfaces and /var/log/daemon.log?

Re: Ubuntu install report
We've been having issues with bind and dhcp3, as seen at bug 537, reported by cpg. Is ubuntu reporting that it has two NICs?
Also, could you clarify by what you mean by no network access?

Re: DHA can't reach the router
It appears that you have two NICs on board. We only officially support one, eth0. You may want to disable one of the adapters in your computer's BIOS (if possible) and/or remove the other card from your server. It looks like eth1 is connected but eth0 is not.

Re: playlist problem
Add it to the default one. It may get overwritten though if the package is upgraded, but it'll keep a copy in that folder of the modified one when that happens.

Re: Install offline?
Not currently under fully-supported means. The Amahi Express disc may work, though I believe that still requires an internet connection for proper configuration into the network.

Re: Ubuntu
I've patched the problem (the racc package was renamed) and it should work fine now. Use Synaptic to upgrade the hdactl package.

Re: VNC on startup
You can use ssh (i.e. PuTTY or Tunnelier on Windows) to log into your hda and start X and the VNC server from a client without hauling the monitor. If you follow the VNC page all the way through however, you can find instructions on how to make it automatically log in so the VNC starts every time. ;)

Re: Amahi Express cd 2.5 Beta
Enter the code that you should have got when you configured an HDA profile in your Amahi control panel at amahi.org.
You will then need to wait the approximately ten to thirty minutes it may take to install the rest of the Amahi system, depending on your system's specifications.

Re: Amahi 5.3: No desktop enviroment?
Try using http://<your-server-ip-address>:2000/ . You can run " ip addr " in the terminal to find it. It may take a long time to load the installer, depending on your server's specs. I would give it two minutes to load on a very-low-end server. I thought I saw something about going to the ...
