Re: How to fully remove an app?

ahh, good question. there is no support in the GUI for this at the moment.

yum can do this:

Code: Select all

rpm -e hda-app-recipes
which will remove it entirely.

this area of web apps needs some TLC. :)

Re: Fedora Updates

if you notice anything not working as expected after the fedora updates, we'd appreciate a quick note (email to support) or come by the irc.

we try to keep an eye, however, some times we're not up to date by a week or two.

thanks!

Re: router/ssh/vnc/freenx

i would recommend going at it in stages.

you should try to get vnc/freenx going locally first. guide here.

once that works, then attempt it remotely!

Re: Unable to Setup the Server

The system has to come up with the static IP address it has been configured with. Alternatively, you can - Assign a static IP address to the server (in your router configuration) - Change /etc/resolv.conf to resolve to the Amahi hda's DNS server, i.e. to that IP of the server You can also alternativ...

Re: dhcp not running

It should be in the same dir you ran hda-install.

You can try

Code: Select all

locate hda-install.log

Re: Can't complete install

sorry about the belated response.

the settings in amahi.org should be 192.168.2.1 for your gateway, looks like from the first picture. so what you are putting *seems* correct.

are you up and running?
