I need to be able to leverage the servers built into Amahi for non-HDA purposes. The issue is that my changes (for DHCP mainly) keep getting overwritten. the files are still on the drives under the gh folder.......the symlinks were removed from the landing zone is all. not a major incident but it made me gasp.....at first basically the nesting i want is this backups-->crashplan (no copies) backups-->dbbackup (max copies) backups-->Dropbox (no copies)...

thankfully an --fsck got my stuff back but that was a little scary.... crashplan had not quite finished its backup....;/ so i guess as long as i setup the shares that way from the start, i should be good. the only problem with this is that my samba shares are back to flat since they only share what ...

Don't mean to side-track from the OP, but what shares storage system or heirarchy did you use for Amahi within a VM? is /var/hda/files just a virtual drive connected to the VM?
