CLOSED: Not enough space error
Recently I've been getting errors when using Windows 7 to move files from local drives to my amahi shares. The file transfers fail, and I get an error stating the there is not enough space or the file is too large for the system. The specific error text varies depending upon the source, i.e. windows...

Re: New plex install not available to plex interface
Yes, I checked the Plex wiki and forum, but I didn't find anything useful.
Oddly, the problem seems to have resolved itself. I went out of town for a few days, and didn't touch my computer. When I came home, I could see the Plex server on Amahi.

CLOSED: New plex install not available to plex interface
I recently performed a clean install of Fedora 23 and Amahi 9. The reason I did so was simply because I was changing my router/gateway IP address and I didn't know how to change this within Amahi. Nothing was wrong my network, it's just that years ago I bought a router with a weird IP address, and I...

Cannot create new profile
I currently have one HDA up and running. I'm making some significant changes to both my network and HDA configuration. I want to create a new HDA install, but I cannot create a 2nd profile. My user dashboard shows my one HDA with the option to delete it, but no option to create a new profile. Am I l...

Trakt.TV plugin for Plex?
Has anyone tried to install the Trakt.TV plugin for Plex on Amahi? I would like to link Plex to my Trakt.TV account to automatically track what I view. The Plex configuration link on the Trakt site leads to a GitHub page; I always find GitHub pages confusing. The GH page says the plugin supports Lin...

Re: Updating Plex?
I guess I could have been more clear. I said that I thought Amahi checked for updates periodically. I didn't mean that there were weekly updates. In this case, I know that the Plex app was pdated 2 weeks ago. You say updates are automatic, but my installed version is not updated. Is there something ...

Updating Plex?
I noticed that the Amahi Plex app was updated to version 1.0 12 days ago. I have the stock Amahi one-click Plex installed. I thought I read somewhere that Amahi updates once a week. If that is true, it seems my Plex should have updated by now. I'd like to avoid removing and reinstalling if possible ...

Re: write access from linux client
Thanks for the link. After some tweeking, that did the trick. The first part of the wiki directing you to install smbfs appears out of date. I entered the line as written, and it went through the install process but downloaded nothing and installed nothing. I wasn't familiar with "aptitude"...

SOLVED: write access from linux client
Using linux in Amahi inspired me to go a step further and try out linux for real. I installed Linux Mint on another computer. Right off the bat I was not able to see my HDA or any amahi shares on the linux box. I would have presumed they would show up under network devices, just like my synology NAS...

replacing/upgrading a drive
I have a drive that is producing some errors so I want to replace it. I found instructions for removing the drive from the greyhole storage pool, but I haven't found anything about removing the drive from amahi. Once the greyhole --going command is complete, do I just remove the drive's entry from /...
