For my install, the newgroups folder default permissions is "www-data | users"
But i look at some of my defailt samaba shares that I delete in the amahi dashboard, such as "docs" and "books", and the folder was still there with "root | root" permissions

Well i set it to 777 and still didnt delete after procesing.
Still sitting in the completed folder with "root | root" permissions

Really? Maybe I didnt set it to 777, maybe just 775?. I will have to check when I get home.

My temp fixed setting it to 777 i believe From there, the files will get process and copied over. But it still will leave the files in the complete folder. You have to manually go back and remove them because they are set as ROOT | ROOT, where sickbeard normally will delete them for you. I have sear...

You are having the same issue I am, but mine is happening with SabNZB/Sickbeard
