Crashplan unable to connect
On a newly installed amahi 6.1 on Ubuntu I bought and installed Crashplan. On the HDA itself I started it from terminal with CrashPlanDesktop. Crashplan opens but when I try to create a new account or an existing account I get "Unable to connect check your network." But http://www.crashpla...

Re: cannot access username.yourhda.com from outside my netwo
I'm trying to configure the VPN but I can't get it to work. I've already opened port 1194 on the router, but when I go to amahi.org and check it on the VPN checker it says "Inactive". On the router should I set DNS Server 1 and 2 to the hda IP or leave on "Get from ISP"? Did you...

Re: my HDA is crashing on exploding messages file
Fedora or Ubuntu I dont really mind. I only need a stable release of amahi with crashplan, ajaxplorer and a torrent app. And I would really like a way to upgrade without having to pump all my data around. Why not make a standard setup for amahi where the data is always on a different partition that ...

Re: Squeezecenter stopped working & Mysql::Error:
last night I did a yum update. Today I noticed that online bookmarks asked for a login, but I could not login. b4rt reported a database error and later http://hda gave the ruby error mentioned in the previous message. On the fedora machine I got a message box about the server not being able to "...

Re: No filsystem information in PhpSysInfo
I still have this problem, but now only when there is a user logged in in gnome at the amahi server. When I logout phpsysinfo gives mount information again.

Re: No filsystem information in PhpSysInfo
Solved by doing a yum update and a reboot.
however, this caused another problem, ruby would not start.
solution for this in another thread:

Re: 5.2 update issue? ruby on rails
Thanks, I did a yum update because the mount information in phpsysinfo did not show.
after the update, still not working. After a reboot I got the ruby error.
your solution "gem install -v=2.3.4 rails" helped me and guess what? mount information in phpsysinfo is also showing again

Re: No filsystem information in PhpSysInfo
Currently, I have the same problem. But it worked before.
Possible causes:
i installed clamav in fedora and b4rt as a one click install
or some update messed this up.
do you have clamav or b4rt installed?

Re: How to backup SERVER/AMAHI itself? (policy?)
I recently configured Rsnapshot for backing up my server to an usb drive.
I made a howto in the wiki:
