I've got a batch file to empty trash which I run when I feel bored:
"C:\Pageant files\pageant.exe" "C:\Pageant files\sshkey.ppk"
C:\plink.exe -v -l <user> -batch -load <putty profile name> -ssh "sudo greyhole -a"

Re: nginx
In this case, I just intend to use it as a reverse proxy
nginx
Hey guys,
I'm looking to install nginx to secure my server more rather than having ports open etc.
If I install this, out of the box, would it interfere with the Amahi dashboard at all?
Thanks!

hda brute forcing
Hey guys, I just did a quick test, and it seems that yourhda.com login doesn't have any limits on how many times people can login, allowing brute forcing to occur. I attempted to install fail2ban (successfully), but it's not picking up any logins to that. What service would the yourhda.com login be ...

Re: mnt/samba/newsgroups/incomplete issues
Managed to solve by removing the directory from greyhole, then manually deleting anything that was stuck/coming back from the relevant drives in the pool

Re: mnt/samba/newsgroups/incomplete issues
OK, interesting: So, if I do the test with let's say /mnt/samba/tv, it works absolutely fine, I can delete as expected. However, newsgroups/incomplete is normally owned by apache. If I change ownership, restart the local mount shares service, I get further, but when trying to delete anything in /mnt...

Re: Motherboard swap

Just wanted to be 100% sure.
Thanks!

Upgrading from 2.1.0 to 2.3.5
Heya, I've just tried uninstalling and reinstalling sab to upgrade from 2.1.0 to 2.3.5, but not getting much luck! The newly installed app is still the 2.1.0 version. On amahi 10 Output of tail -n 100 /var/log/amahi-app-installer.log | apaste https://paste.fedoraproject.org/paste/BungvpUXmPGH5CyUnUB...

SOLVED: Motherboard swap
Hey guys, I'll be upgrading motherboard + CPU in the next few days, and want to make sure I'm aware of any caveats before I do so. I was looking at https://wiki.amahi.org/index.php/Post-Install_Hardware_Changes but it seems slightly out of date (e.g. $/etc/udev/rules.d/70-persistent-net.rules doesn'...
