Re: Amahi DLNA doesn't rescan automatically
Does anyone have an update on this issue? I too have Greyhole running. A bug was opened, but the link was not posted on this thread, so I don't know where to look for it.

Re: HDA won't boot normally
Thank you very much. That seems to have solved it.

HDA won't boot normally
I have an odd situation going on with my HDA. First things first, I'm still running the F12 version of Amahi, and I like to run my HDA headless (it's a working laptop, but I have it tucked in a cabinet so I don't like taking it out if I don't have to). When I boot normally, that is with no intervent...

Re: Unable to boot HDA
That seemed resolve the issue. I'm in the process of copying my share data over to the new drive. I sure do hope that my HD issues are resolved, but I have a feeling that perhaps this HD is going bad. Thanks again.

Re: Unable to boot HDA
After 24 hours, the scan had only completed 6%, so I decided to format the drive and start all over again. The format took another 8 hours, but it finally completed. I have got the drive in the storage pool, but when I do a greyhole --fsck Nothing seems to be happening. I checked the Greyhole log, a...

Re: Unable to boot HDA
I found the following website, and it helped me to figure out what needs to be done to at least be able to boot into the HDA, the website is: http://blog.stpworks.com/archive/2010/12/04/using-amahi-recovering-from-non-system-disk-failure.aspx I stopped at step 6, as I am not adding a new hard drive ...

Re: Unable to boot HDA
I've tried rebooting the HDA and upon reboot and dropping to the shell, I saw another issue. This time I found a message that says the following: fsck.ext4: No such file or directory while trying to open /dev/.tmp-block-8:33 /dev/.tmp-block-8:33: The superblock could not be read or does not describe...

Unable to boot HDA
I'm not exactly sure what happened to my server, as it was working perfectly for quite a while. However I recently tried to reboot the server, and now it won't boot. I've gotten several different errror, but two seem to stand out as troublesome. The first error I tend to see is: An error occurred du...

Re: How to disable ATT Uverse Gateway DHCP
I too have UVerse, and I have not been able to find a way to disable DHCP on the 2Wire HGV-3800B (I think that is the model number). It hasn't posed a problem for me yet, although sometimes I do have a problem with accessing my HDA's Dashboard by typing in the URL http://hda. However, I do not have ...

Re: Show Us your home server
Nothing special here. My Amahi box is a Toshiba M55-S325, Pentium M 1.7 Ghz, with 1.5 GB of RAM. I've got two Western Digital 2 TB USB drives attached. I do plan on replacing it in the future with something more powerful, as I want to run XP in a virtual machine, and run PlayOn to stream Hulu to my ...
