I see. Should be fixed with 0.9.4 as well (the problem is caused by too restrictive permissions). Let me know if it works.

Re: Amahi Energy Saver
**EDIT: I noticed a problem with installations done with the Amahi Express CD. Does this apply to you? If so, please install the latest 0.9.4 version. ** Pls execute the following command in a root terminal: ruby /var/hda/web-apps/aes/html/lib/aes.rb After a few minutes you will see an error message...

Re: Amahi Energy Saver
'smbstatus' shows which files/shares are locked. Note that if you browse a share with Explorer, it is locked as well.

Re: Amahi Energy Saver
Thanks for the details.
From the log you sent it looks like AES service was constantly crashing. So it would have been nice to investigate in more detail why this happened. Maybe it was some leftovers from very old versions. But most importantly it's working now which is great!

Re: Amahi Energy Saver
Hi moncapitaine,
can you elaborate on what you had to do - normally /usr/share/aes* can stay, the installer is supposed to take care of the different cases.
Which is the version you were coming from?
Cheers,

Re: Amahi Energy Saver
Hi Azaron, uninstalling and installing is currently the cleanest way of upgrading. You will have to redo the web-app configuration and the list of monitored hosts. It shouldn't take more than a minute to set the configuration in the web app. The energy balance figures as well as the calendar stay, a...

Re: Orphaned, empty folders do not get deleted on fsck
Hi Sam, fully agree, however I think that greyhole creates symlinks for files, but for folders greyhole creates actual folders in the share. The symlinks are sorted in true folders. In my case, I suspect, when I deleted the files in the share so the real files got deleted and the symlinks removed. S...

Orphaned, empty folders do not get deleted on fsck
Hi, I noticed that one of the folders I once had and then deleted still exists in the samba share. It does not exists anymore indeed in the greyhole directories, but it does exists in the share. I ran an fsck but that didn't remove. Here's a bash log to illustrate what I mean. I'm not sure what even...

This script prevents the HDA from suspending if a HandBrake job is going on. Actually the script checks how much CPU is used by HandBrake. If it's more that 25%, the HDA does not suspend. The script can be easily adapted to check for other processes. If you create any new script based on this (or an...
