Re: Upgrade or Install to Amahi 11 w/ greyhole

I have the same setup with regard to OS and pool drive configuration and that's how it worked for me. Make sure to uninstall apps and plugins that have been added to the amahi dashboard and backup their respective configs. Perform the upgrade as directed and you should be good to go when it comes ba...

Re: Amahi 11 upgrade - issues with uninstalling old web apps from dashboard

Hope all goes well. You now understand by apps need to be uninstalled prior to upgrade. BTW apps that were LIVE in one Amahi version may not be in the next. Be cautious trying any app not LIVE as they often are broken. I definitely won't make that mistake again for the next upgrade. I was worried t...

Re: mount_shares_locally revised wiki page help

I verified that the the user "apache" does exist on the system (not sure how it was created) and that it is part of the users group. That is system generated as it's the user for the web server. Much of the wiki guidance is contributed by the Amahi community. Tutorials such as these are o...

Re: Amahi 11 upgrade - issues with uninstalling old web apps from dashboard

Check out this post: If you need additional help, just let us know. If not, let us know if we can close this thread. I read through that post and one other before making this one but I apparently don't have any plugins installed so the advice wasn't applicable. From inspecting one of the services I...

Re: Upgrade or clean install

I believe it is something BigFoot added in 2015 going from previous posts as a way to recover your settings if you need to. You can safely remove the files.
Good to know for the future. Thanks.

Re: Sickrage app

Thanks, I'll take a look at Sonarr. I never got round to using usenet, I purely used sickrage to move and rename files, I presume Sonarr has the same functionality to allow you to download files yourself. Yes but I am not sure if there is a way to manually invoke a move/rename. Everything is done w...

SOLVED: Amahi 11 upgrade - issues with uninstalling old web apps from dashboard

So I (like a few others, apparently) glossed over the part about removing web apps and plugins before doing the upgrade from Amahi 10 to 11. After getting the problem sorted of the httpd server not starting, thanks to another recent post, I got into the dashboard and started trying to remove apps fr...

Re: Upgrade or clean install

... That's when I noticed the addition to the sickrage app, moving the uninstalled files into Newsgroups... What was up with that? I upgraded from 10-11 last night and toyed around with Sickrage to see if it was still borked with the updating timezones error (spoiler: it was) but when I uninstalled...

Re: Sickrage app

This may not be useful, but after experiencing the same problems with Sickrage, I have switched over to Sonarr and couldn't be happier. I still check the commits every few days and update the sickrage app when I see one, out of pure interest, but that problem doesn't seem to be going away :-/.

Re: mount_shares_locally revised wiki page help

There is no revised script. You have to make the changes specified in the article. There is only one mount_shares_locally script as available in the wiki. You could also check the Greyhole web site. You will find it mentions not to use Greyhole with file types . This may change how you want to use ...
