Re: Accessing HDA shares over the Internet?
I found out a way to access my HDA from the internet! I can get to it's setup screen (by going to HDAname.yourhda.com) on any computer, but I am still trying to get the shares working... What I did was enable "DMZ" on my router. I then set it to the IP address of my HDA as the destination...

Re: Amahi not renewing its own ip
A device that has a static IP address does not lease addresses so it will never renew.
You shut off the DHCP server. That does not mean you enabled DHCP client.
EDIT: I guess i should also add that i dont think, i could be wrong, that it is possible to use DHCP with Amahi.

DHCP Options?
I would like to tweak the info sent out from Amahi a little bit on DHCP requests. I.E...i want to add a secondary DNS server. This way, if the Amahi server goes down while i am out of town, it delays the call from my wife. Also, i want to add a Option 150. Are there instructions on how to do this? S...

Actually, it looks like i have bigger problems.
The web installer stalls at 69% Configuring Network (eth0)
Is there any way to install without eth0?

Re: Can not access the internet!
It seems the best solution is to change the router back to the subnet Amahi was on. Simply changing the gateway is not the best answer. 192.168.1.x 255.255.255.0 & 192.168.2.x 255.255.255.0 are completely different networks. Unless there is a valid reason you have to stay on the ".2" n...

Install Issues eth0 unavailable
My on board ethernet card "eth0" died. This means i need to install Fedora and then install Amahi, rather than the preferred install. When i do this, the Amahi install and other objects do not appear in my user desktop, but they do appear in root. Am i doing something wrong? will this have...
