Re: Moving Landing Zone, please help
I'm having the same issue, I have a 6 gig /var/hda/files partition on my boot drive and it's constantly filling while transfering. If I could move that to another drive (perhaps one of my empty 2 TB drives) that would be ideal.
Thanks.
Thanks.

Re: My Amahi box is running wicked slow
i figured out why the transfers are stopping and starting... my var/hda/files/ is only 6 gb and it fills up while copying, then greyhole clears it, then it fills up again. direct copies to my (non-pooled) SSD are much faster. So the copy problem is a greyhole problem, which i'll troubleshoot tomorro...

My Amahi box is running wicked slow
Is a Pentium 4 3ghz with 512 mb of ram insufficient to run fedora 14/amahi well? When I installed fedora and amahi, everything was copasetic. Today however doing everyday activities was very slow. Then I added a PCI 4-port SATA card and four hard drives, turned them all into a storage pool. Didn't m...

Any way to make KeePass work on my Amahi machine?
So KeePass is pretty critical for me. I manage my passwords on 4 separate devices using KeePass and DropBox. I got DropBox operational but KeePass apparently requires Mono. Does anyone know how to get Mono to work on Fedora 14? I'm a total noob to linux, just getting my machine to run Fedora/Amahi/C...

Re: Correct LVM sizes for a 30gb SSD?
turns out it doesn't matter :x I installed everything after several failed attempts... rebooted... flashing cursor. This old POS couldn't detect the SATA SSD without drivers...located on the SSD. (The drivers are necessary to operate the PCI SATA controller card. oh well. I'm installing it to the ID...

Fedora 14 installation crashes on glibc
I followed the installation on amahi.org with only one change. I put /var/hda/files/ partition on a different hard drive than the OS. the installation got to "packages completed: 64 of 1262 Installing glibc-common-2.12.90-17.i686 (107 MB) Common binaries and locale data for glibc Computer total...

Correct LVM sizes for a 30gb SSD?
I read the newbie tutorial, which made sense for a 40+ gb HD, but given my 30gb what would you recommend for lv_swap, lv_home, lv_swap etc.
I've got 1gb of ram.
thanks.
