Re: Editing fstab in emergency mode?

Thanks. I found a similar post on how to mount the boot drive in read/write, but unfortunately it wasn't any use because I couldn't get to an actual console. When I hit enter to continue it would just come back to the same error screen. I tried creating a flash drive of the fedora netinstall iso bec...

CLOSED: Editing fstab in emergency mode?

I recently replaced a drive with a larger hard drive. After completing the greyhole -going command I removed the old drive from /etc/fstab, shutdown, and swapped the drives. After rebooting I proceeded to add the new drive using the disc wizard add disc tab. The first time I tried adding the drive t...

Re: Cannot access dashboard, Phusion Passenger error

weird, after I restarted it loaded the page that the browser was on before the error message. But, shortly after when I tried to go to another tab, apparently it crashed again and I got the error message again. There might be something else going on that's causing the crash. The drive I'm removing i...

Cannot access dashboard, Phusion Passenger error

At the moment I cannot access my HDA web GUI. When I try to do so, after some delay I get an error message that says "We're sorry, but something went wrong. We've been notified about this issue and we'll take a look at it shortly." Below this message is a link the offers "Information ...

CLOSED: What is least painful way to replace landing zone drive?

I recently upgraded a couple of drives with larger drives. This process went smooth enough, but while it was going on I had a monitor attached to my HDA. The monitor is displaying quite a few errors associated with my landing zone drive. So far overall operation doesn't seem to be affected, but ther...

How to set time?

It's a minor problem, but my time is off by about an hour. It may simply be because I set my system clock in BIOS during daylight savings. Rather than reboot and change the BIOS setting, I would prefer to do it from the UI. I've looked long and hard, but I could not find any time settings. I checked...

Setting up Greyhole Trash share

I've been doing a lot of file cleanup lately, which means lots of deleted files. So far I've been emptying the trash manually as per the wiki https://wiki.amahi.org/index.php/Greyhole_Tips , but I'd like to simplify the process. Below the Emptying Trash instructions there is a reference to creating ...

Plex DVR and Live TV?

I recently purchased a TV tuner to use with my plex server. The tuner is working on the plex server hosted on my synology NAS, but it lacks the horsepower to transcode on the fly. I want to move my plex server back to my HDA, which has more CPU, but I do not see any Live TV or DVR settings when I go...

Re: Greyhole getting stuck

Thanks. I loaded the new version on Friday, and I've done a fair bit of organizing, including both moves, renames and deletions. So far no apparent issues, and best of all... NO ENDLESS LOOPS. I never knew I'd get so much joy from watching files rename without getting stuck in a loop.

Re: Greyhole getting stuck

I'll try anything at this point. I see the rpm path, but I don't know how to install the update. Can you give me the complete command line sequence? I cleaned out my TV share and rebuilt it from scratch. This got rid of the empty gibberish folders, but the queue is still getting stuck when I rename/...
